About Magic Mushrooms Miami
Magic Mushrooms Miami explains Florida's psilocybin law, research and risks from primary records, with a date on every page. It's published by the team that runs an online shop for adults 21+, and this page explains what that means for what you read.
From our sister shop, My Mushroom Dispensary. Adults 21+ only.

Why this site exists
Ask a search engine whether magic mushrooms are legal in Miami and much of what comes back is undated, unsourced or both. The answer itself is short and strict: psilocybin is a Schedule I drug in Florida, and possessing any amount is a third-degree felony. What changes from year to year is everything around it: bills, court cases, clinical trials, raids.
We built Magic Mushrooms Miami so a reader in Hialeah, Homestead or Brickell can find that answer with the statute, record or study behind it, and see when it was last checked. A reporter or a lawyer should be able to cite a page here and find the real document behind it.
Who owns Magic Mushrooms Miami?
Magic Mushrooms Miami is published by the team that runs My Mushroom Dispensary, an online shop for adults 21+. That's a commercial interest in the subject we cover, and you should weigh what you read here with it in mind.
It doesn't change the law. Psilocybin is illegal under Florida and federal law. Ordering it online or by mail is illegal under federal law and in every state, and no state permits mail-order sales. Our pages say so wherever ordering comes up.
The site sells no advertising, and nothing is for sale on it. No one pays to be covered.
Which pages carry a note from the publisher, and why it's labeled
Six pages carry a short note about the shop: the home page, the Florida law guide, and the guides to mushroom dispensaries in Miami, ordering online to Florida, microdosing in Miami and visiting Miami. Those pages answer questions about buying, ordering or comparing states, the questions closest to what the shop does, so that's where the relationship matters most to a reader.
Each note sits in its own box tagged "From our publisher" and ends with the same disclosure line, so you can see at a glance where the reporting stops and the shop starts. News stories, the four data pages, the safety and help pages and the therapy guide carry no note.
The Products button
Every page has a Products button under its opening paragraph. It links straight to the shop's order page, and the line under it reads "From our sister shop, My Mushroom Dispensary. Adults 21+ only." Apart from the six pages with a publisher note and the My Mushroom Dispensary link at the start of this section, that button is the only link to the shop on this site. The click doesn't pass through our server, and the button's web address carries tags naming the page it was clicked on. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, so we don't record the click, as our privacy page explains.
What we cover
The site is built on Florida law as written. The law guide and the penalties page work from Chapter 893 of the Florida Statutes. The wild mushrooms page explains the 1978 Fiske case, and a page on psychedelic churches covers religious-use claims.
Four pages are dated records you can download and reuse: the bill tracker, the clinical trials with Florida sites, the timeline and the enforcement log.
Other guides cover the nearest legal options, gummies and chocolate bars, psychedelic therapy and safety and risks. The help page lists emergency and crisis numbers, and the news desk reports from bill pages, court records and agency releases.
How pages are written and checked
Pages are bylined to the Magic Mushrooms Miami desk, the team that researches, writes and checks the site. There are no individual bylines, no quotes from experts we can't name, and no reviews or testimonials.
AI tools help us research, draft and fact-check. Before a page goes up, every fact is checked against the source it cites, an automated check looks for unmatched citations, broken links and wording we don't use, and each page lists its sources so you can check them too. The checks catch a lot, not everything, so corrections are made on the page and dated. The illustrations are AI-generated and captioned that way.
The editorial standards explain how sources are chosen, what we never publish and how corrections work. To report an error or send a tip, write to newsroom@magicmushroomsmiami.com, or see the contact page.
